Here are some commands you can run on your server (as root via ssh) to help you determine which files are taking up the majority of your backup allocation. You can then make a list of the worst offenders where the data is not important to you or your business so we can exclude them:

dsmc q b -ina -sub=yes “/*” > /tmp/ProtectedFiles && sort -nr /tmp/ProtectedFiles > /tmp/Protected-Sorted && head -n 50 /tmp/Protected-Sorted

or

dsmc q b -ina -sub=yes “/*” > /tmp/ProtectedFiles && sort -nr /tmp/ProtectedFiles > /tmp/Protected-Sorted && head -n 50 /tmp/Protected-Sorted
